Application rejected
It came back declined. Sometimes more than once, from more than one provider.
For merchants without a payment gateway
Not getting a payment gateway for your website or app? Collect UPI payments on the account you already have. Your customer pays through a PayMQR checkout, PayMQR checks the proof they send, and every payment lands in your dashboard.
Not a bank, an acquirer or a payment gateway. PayMQR never holds your money, and it cannot approve you for a payment gateway or change another provider’s decision.
The problem
It is rarely about whether the business is real.
It came back declined. Sometimes more than once, from more than one provider.
The application is in, with no date on it. Every day is orders you cannot take.
The build is finished and the checkout is the last empty box.
You already collect one way and want a UPI route beside it, on your own account.
PayMQR cannot approve you for a payment gateway, appeal a refusal, or change another provider’s assessment — and it is not a way around a suspension. It is a different thing: software around a UPI account you already hold.
The split
Nothing about where your money lands changes.
Yours
Add the UPI ID you already receive money on. PayMQR asks a verification provider about it and records the account holder name that comes back.
PayMQR’s
Your customer opens a PayMQR checkout with your business name and the exact amount, pays from any UPI app, and uploads the screenshot.
Money moves from your customer to your own account. PayMQR does not hold, route or settle it.
How PayMQR works
The UPI ID you want to be paid on.
From the dashboard, or through the API.
From the app they already use, then uploads the screenshot.
The status updates, and a verified customer can go to your success page.
Inside the product
What is verified, what is waiting, and what needs you.
A payment waits, gets checked when evidence arrives, and ends Verified, Rejected or Expired. Under review is the one that asks something of you.
Verified is a PayMQR record, not a bank confirmation.
Why this fits
PayMQR works around the UPI account you already have. No acquirer, no merchant ID.
Any UPI app. No account, no install, no card.
Amount, reference, proof and status on every payment.
If a gateway approves you, nothing here has to be unwound.
PayMQR claims no PCI DSS, SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification and no regulatory authorization, and takes no part in any other provider’s decision. Read the security overview.
Plans
See complete pricing, verification limits, team limits and payment-page customisation.
Paid plans are bought one term at a time from Billing, by UPI. They do not renew automatically.
Eligibility
Merchants collecting into their own UPI account: shops, restaurants, service businesses, freelancers, and websites or apps invoicing customers directly.
The rules every PayMQR merchant agrees to. Read the full terms, or ask before you sign up.
PayMQR has no part in that decision and cannot change it. It is a different thing: software around a UPI account you already hold, so no gateway approval is involved. PayMQR’s own acceptable-use rules still apply.
Yes. PayMQR does not replace a gateway application or affect one, and nothing has to be unwound if you are approved later.
Yes — your customers pay the UPI ID you already use. PayMQR asks a verification provider about it and records the account holder name; an unclear answer goes to a PayMQR reviewer. That lookup is not proof of ownership.
Into your own account, from their UPI app. PayMQR is not a bank, an acquirer, a payment aggregator or a regulated payment gateway, and does not hold, route, settle or guarantee funds.
Your customer uploads the payment screenshot on the checkout page. PayMQR checks it against that payment and updates the status. Anything it cannot settle moves to Under review for your decision. Verified is a PayMQR record, not a bank confirmation.
Yes. Send a payment link, or create the payment through the API and redirect to the checkout URL it returns. Webhooks tell your server when a payment changes.
You choose the plan from Billing and pay one term by UPI, the way your customers pay you. It activates once PayMQR confirms that payment. Paid plans do not renew automatically.
No. It is for merchants selling genuine goods or services into their own UPI account. Unlawful selling, impersonation, misleading customers and fabricated evidence are all out, and PayMQR can decline a payment account whose verification is unclear.
Add your UPI account, send a payment link, let PayMQR check the proof.
PayMQR is merchant payment software. Not a bank, an acquiring institution or a regulated payment gateway, and it does not hold or settle merchant funds.
